2018 M. G. Heucq Champagne "Les Margaines" Rose de Saignee Extra Brut

Deep rosy-red color. Raspberry and floral notes on the nose. Very fine bead. Bright raspberry with cherry and spice on the palate. Lovely acidity and good balance. Finishes moderately long and savory. Pleasant wine but not more than that. This is labeled as Extra Brut but it does not come across as that dry. It may be the almost candied raspberry notes that affect my perception of its RS. I also don't see a long life for this bottling. "B+"
