This resembles some of the Douro wines I’ve had recently. A touch New World, some deft oak, very balanced and but still shows Old World as it’s riots and should develop into something more distinct with time. It was very dry, which I really enjoyed. Low yield and “rare” vineyard, 500 meters in sandy, stoney soil. NE exposure and head training pruning, according to the label. It is concentrated, structured and highly recommended. 20-30 Euros in the restaurant. I know nothing about the grape or winery. Fine with sea bass.
Thanks
