the Chat Room Works ...
URGENT:
You may need to clear both cache areas on
your browser, exit the browser and then reboot. In that order!!
This is not typical but if you have repeated problems then it
seems to be the cure. The
chat room seems to work best with the newest versions of Netscape
and MSIE. Thanks for your patience.
The
Chat Room began loading as soon as you entered this page, but
it is located on another server. It takes a few moments for it
to load. It starts out a the large gray or white block below and
after it completely loads has kind of a pale green background
color. All it requires is that you enter in your "Nick Name"
to enter the actual chat area. Of course we urge you to use your
real name here too. I guess you need to have Netscape 3.0 or above
or Internet Explorer 3.0 or above. Once you have entered in your
name, just press the "OK Connect" button. Note that
once you are logged in, if you don't touch a key for several minutes
you will automatically be logged off. So send an occasional reply
even if it's only a "right", "cool" or something
similar.
